So, it's almost that time of year again. By that time of year, I mean that it's almost Halloween. I make it a habit to start celebrating a few months in advance (usually two) because that just makes sense to me. If you're truly obsessed with this beloved holiday, you're going to want to make it last. Why wait until October? It will be over before you know it, so it's always a good idea to make it stretch.
I started this blog as a way to keep myself in the spirit of things. It's always good to maintain that Halloweeny feeling throughout the year, to some degree. Whenever the mood strikes, I can always head over here and give you all something to read. It's a good outlet! I am the physical manifestation of the Halloween spirit, after all. That's not blood running through my veins. It's pumpkin spice. No lie.
The blog is called HALLOWEEN RETRO 101, because, while I'm fascinated by all things Halloween related, I tend to gravitate towards the things that I grew up around. When you dig a little deeper, you can find some real gems from the past, as far as movies, music, or literature. You'll see a lot of those things on here, hence the "retro" aspect.
HOWEVER, we will focus on the latest in Halloween awesomeness as well. I don't want to set any specific boundaries. I want the freedom to reach as many of you as possible! I want to pull you into my unholy obsession. Trust me. I want this to be a fun experience for everyone!
